Piano teacher graduated from UPH Conservatory of Music with 14 years of teaching experiences

Saya telah belajar piano dengannya selama sekitar 9 tahun sekarang dan keterampilan piano saya telah meningkat pesat selama bertahun-tahun. Dia adalah guru yang sangat bertekad, berdedikasi, dan bersemangat yang bersedia meningkatkan keterampilan piano Anda apa pun yang terjadi.

I met Ms Fanny through an acquaintance when I was struggling with my grade 4 Royal ABRSM piano examination. The exam that time was only a few days away, yet I still could not perform the pieces correctly. My previous piano teacher had said that it was never going to work and I would not pass if I took the test that month. However, Ms Fanny helped me cope with mastering the pieces for the exam as best as I could in the limited time we had. Her evaluations for my performances were spot on and gave me a lot of insight on what I needed to improve. I felt very comfortable conversing with her since day 1 and was a lot less nervous with her compared to with other music teachers. In just 4 sessions, I gained a lot more confidence in my playing and sat for the exam.

And passed with a score that exceeded all expectations! I have never been so happy in my life!

Ms Fanny is very detailed and flexible when teaching me. Even though my curriculum and knowledge had been very messy and lacking from my previous courses, she always has a set goal for what we are going to cover in my grade and has given me theories to help me catch up to my current level. She showed me memorizing methods that make it easy to remember concepts. She had also encouraged me to try out new songs that are unfamiliar to my hands and to participate in piano concerts when there was the chance.

I generally dislike playing in public, but I would never forget how proud I was when I got to perform "Kiss The Rain" in front of the audience and my family. It was such a big song for me and I never would have thought I'd get to play it with my own hands!

Where I was very pressured with other mentors, I feel relaxed when Ms Fanny comes over and teaches. She is very patient with me even when I'm struggling with reading the notes on the music sheet or when I forget some concepts. She delivers points very clearly and concisely and is very easy to get along with. She introduced me to challenging Romantic, Contemporary and Classical books that I never thought I would get the privilege to try out. She points out the departments where I lack and tells me how it could be improved. She also finds ways to make our lessons as enjoyable as possible by letting me pick songs that I want to play and occasionally conversing about our interests. I found it absolutely amazing when she played my favorite songs by ear and felt motivated every time.

What I like the most about her is that what she taught me had not just been limited to the piano, but also characters that are important in everyday life, like perseverance and hard work. And I think that those are vital qualities that any teacher should guide in students!

Ms Fanny has helped me develop my skills in piano and has been the cause of some of my biggest achievements in life. She helped me be more confident in my life and for that, I am and forever will be very grateful that I got to have her as my teacher!

Not only Ms.Fanny is an incredibly patient teacher, she is kind but firm, ensuring 7 year-old me back then got proper music foundation that helped me becoming the pianist I am today. Ms.Fanny adapted her teaching style according to student's needs all the time, which helped me pushed my limits on my own pace. Her experience in teaching piano from all those years, with all kinds of people, with various age, is very much palpable at class, and I am proud and glad to be taught by her.

(Tidak hanya Ms.Fanny adalah guru yang sangat sabar, dia baik hati tapi juga tegas, dan memastikan saya yang berusia 7 tahun saat itu mendapatkan fondasi musik yang tepat, dan pada akhirnya membantu saya menjadi pianis seperti sekarang ini. Ms.Fanny selalu menyesuaikan gaya mengajarnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, dan membantu saya mendorong batas kemampuan saya sendiri. Pengalamannya mengajar piano selama bertahun-tahun, dengan berbagai jenis orang, dengan berbagai usia, sangat terlihat di kelas. Saya bangga dan senang diajar olehnya.)
