Tentang Randy
My name is Randy Lay. I graduated with a bachelor degree in English Language Teaching and a master's degree majoring in Education Policy from the University of Rochester, New York, USA. I have been teaching English to Indonesian and foreign students for over 10 years. My students come from all walks of life. I tutored TOEFL to Chinese Ivy League prospective students, Indonesian medical Professionals, European and American children, and to a larger spectrum such as the Police Commissioner of East Nusa Tenggara Province for military purposes, and served as a primary Bahasa Indonesia-English interpreter at the United States Navy. In addition, I used to conduct an academic research regarding Chicago public school bilingual policy. My research has contributed a positive improvement on the Illinoi Board of Education. I strongly believe that you have a potential to thrive in English ability and I would love to help you bring your potential out of you.

You do not have to be apprehensive when it comes to expressing yourself in English. I have trained numerous students from all walks of life (Beginners-above average) and I have received a handful of positive feedback from both Indonesian and foreign students that I have taught. I Constantly noticed a potential in my students to grow and thrive academically and I strongly believe that you also have the same potential. I'd love to have a discussion with my students prior to starting the classes in order to know where they are in terms of their leaning necessities and we can go from there. My goal as an English teacher is to see my students surpass me.
