I always know that i want to work with children. I am pursuing a master degree in teaching and learning next year. I want to use my knowledge and skills while waiting to be a professional teacher in school.
I also know that my background in psychology alongside with my hands-on experience can give a solid foundation for the children to learn with full potential.

I usually adapt my teaching strategies based on what the students need. Each student has different learning styles so I am very comfortable to tailor my approach depending on their individual needs.
In 2013, I worked as a private tutor, supporting children starting from kindergarten to year 11. Most of the students were international school students such as BBS, SIS, and Tzu Chi. Therefore I am very familiar with Cambridge, IB, and Singapore curriculum.
I also had a diploma of early childhood education and care. I worked in several child care centres in Sydney, Australia. I learned to follow daily routines, writing student's observation report and plan classrooms activities.
My background in psychology has provided me an insight into developmental stages of children and adolescence. Hence, I can use that understanding to understand their behaviours and create supportive learning environment where the students will have same equal opportunities to learn and feel valued.
I am happy to teach kids starting the age of 3-15 years old.
