I’m a certified Korean language enthusiast and tutor with a TOPIK II Level 5 qualification. My teaching method is all about balance. We won’t just stare at grammar books; we’ll practice how the language actually lives and breathes in Korea today. Since I’ve reached TOPIK Level 5, I know exactly which parts are tricky for learners and how to simplify them.
1. The Beginner Roadmap (Lv. 1-2)
The 60-Minute Challenge: Master reading and writing Hangul (the Korean alphabet) in our very first session.
Survival Korean: Essential phrases for traveling, ordering food, and introducing yourself.
Basic Sentence Structure: Understanding the "Subject-Object-Verb" logic so you can start building your own sentences.
2. The Intermediate Bridge (Lv. 3-4)
Grammar Deep-Dive: No more confusing your particles (-은/는 vs -이/가). We’ll fix the common mistakes that hold most students back.
Contextual Speaking: Learning when to be formal (Jondetmal) and when to be casual (Banmal) like a local.
Listening Immersion: Using clips from variety shows and dramas to train your ears for natural speed.
3. The TOPIK II Prep (Lv. 5 Goal)
Strategic Writing (Sseugi): I’ll share the exact templates and formal vocabulary I used to score high on the writing section.
Speed Reading: Techniques to scan long paragraphs and find answers quickly under exam pressure.
Advanced Vocabulary: Focusing on Hanja (Chinese characters) to help you guess the meaning of words you’ve never seen before.
