Tentang Prisma Silviya
My name is Prisma Silviya Auliawati, I was born and raised in Sukabumi, a small district in Indonesia. I am a learner who is determined to change the world, well at least the world around me. I fell in love with chemistry when I was in high school. At that time, my chemistry teacher taught chemistry contextually. He connected chemical phenomena with everyday life. I still clearly remember that time when my teacher introduced chemistry with one question: "Why are hot air balloons filled with helium gas and not hydrogen gas, even though hydrogen gas is the lightest gas?" At that time, I realized: Oh, it turns out that chemistry is close to our lives! Since then, I have always enjoyed studying chemistry, this has led me to win various chemistry competitions, one of which is that I won 1st place in the city level chemistry competition and represented my city to compete in the provincial level. Seeing how my teacher taught chemistry in a very astonishing way, made me want to help my friends to be able to understand chemistry better. I often became a peer tutor for my friends and I was overjoyed when they could understand chemistry better and could do the exam well. Since then, I was interested in becoming a lecturer and teaching chemistry to more people. At f irst, I thought the world of education was no stranger to me. However, after being faced with various realities around me I was determined to dive into the world of education. This is the implication of my big dream to reach the highest level of the learning process: loving and spreading knowledge.
