Tentang Nindya
Hi Everyone!
Salam kenal, nama saya Nindya.
I am a freelance language teacher with a bachelor's degree in literature and 6 years of experience teaching Indonesian language. I have been teaching students from all over the world, but mostly from Japan.
Don't worry if you are not from Japan, because I also have experience teaching students from the USA, Germany, Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, Singapore, and many other countries. Many of my students are Adults aged 30-60, but I am also open to teaching Children of any age.
I specialize in teaching the practical usage of the language. I will not just focus on the theory, but mainly focus on the conversational Indonesian language. The goal is to help in your daily life in Indonesia and help you to communicate with the local people. Not only teaching the language, but I will also help you understand the culture and norms in Indonesia because learning a language is not only about speaking or using the language, but also about understanding its culture, so you can communicate more naturally with the locals.
My teaching style is casual lessons. In class, we will not focus only on the theory of the language but also on its real usage in conversation.
Learning languages, especially Bahasa Indonesia, is not too hard. For the adult students, I believe you can master the Indonesian language's basics in 6 months with 1 hr twice per week or 1,5 hr lesson once per week.
I enjoy teaching and interacting with you, especially those who are interested in the Indonesian language and culture.

My way of teaching Bahasa Indonesia is casual, practical, and easy to understand.
In the class, I will not only focus on the theory but also focus on the usage of the language directly, like reading some Indonesian books or discussing your interests. And if we have time, we can have a little field trip to interesting places in Jakarta (I am based in Jakarta) and experience interacting directly with the locals.
This is to help the students implement the lesson that they already learned and sharpen their capability in communicating in Bahasa Indonesia with the locals.
