Hello, everyone! Apa kabar?
My name is Fenty. I started my career as an English teacher. I have been teaching Bahasa Indonesia for over 4 years since 2017. I've got the opportunity to teach students who work for organizations/departments, such as DFAT (Department of Foreign and Trade) Australia, AVI (Australian Volunteers International), Peace Corps, Scope Global Australia, GIZ (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), some embassies in Indonesia, NGOs and some other government offices, also students from different universities all around the world. I also teach expat spouses, tourists, and children.
My students' age range from 8 to 60s.
Accordingly, in term of teaching approach, it is tailored to every student's needs, skill levels and interests.
When learning a new language, it is essential to learn its culture as well. By understanding the culture, its differences, it allows you to give the right meaning to each word, in the larger context, so you'll be able to think in the foreign language and find new ways to express things, also to avoid misunderstanding.
As a teacher, my goal is that students gain ownership of diverse social practices of bahasa Indonesia and participate effectively & confidently in their life.

I teach Bahasa Indonesia to foreigners from many different countries with diverse backgrounds, coming to Indonesia as diplomats, volunteers, university students, professionals or tourists.
Accordingly, when it comes to teaching approach, I really like to tailor it to the individual student's needs, skill levels, and interests.
Also, when learning a new language, culture is essential. Seeing the need to establish a greater understanding among Indonesian people and foreigners, through my experience and knowledge, I am ready and willing to help you to increase your bahasa Indonesia skills as well as the cultural insights so that the good communication in business and social can be gained.
