Tentang Monica
Hi! My name is Monica , and I’ve worked as a flight attendant for 9 years. Through that experience, I developed a deep love for traveling, meeting people from different cultures, and learning how to communicate effectively across languages.
Over time, this passion led me to teaching Bahasa Indonesia. For the past year, I’ve been working as a freelance teacher, helping expats living in Indonesia feel more confident and connected by learning to communicate with locals in everyday situations.
I truly enjoy making learning fun, practical, and culturally rich because language is more than just words it's a bridge to understanding and connection. I look forward to sharing the beauty of Bahasa Indonesia with more learners from around the world!

As a teacher, I focus on creating a relaxed, friendly, and supportive learning environment. I understand that every student is different, so I always try to adjust my teaching style to their needs, goals, and learning pace.
I enjoy using real-life situations, daily conversations, and cultural context in my lessons—especially since most of my students are expats living in Indonesia. I want my students to feel confident using Bahasa Indonesia in everyday life, whether it’s at a local market, with their neighbors, or at work.
I’m patient, encouraging, and love making lessons interactive and enjoyable. My goal is not just to teach the language, but also to help students feel more connected with the culture and people of Indonesia.
