To communicate a new idea is a hard part to convince people because different people think in different ways. Some people sometimes underestimate the idea before we explain it. This is the opportunity that we have to pursue many times, and we have to dig deeper our effort to convince them. We can learn from what people criticize about the idea. It makes our idea can be developed. However, I have two opinions about this unanswered question.
The first thing I do is to tell my closest friend or colleague that can be trust about the idea. It will take a long time to figure it out who is the right man that can be invited to work together. I have to provide everybody with background information necessary to comprehend new solutions. We surely do not want to stop the idea in the middle of what we are trying to prove, and we need to do an analysis before we move. I will explain it from the beginning until the end. I will tell them the truth that this is just idea. We don’t know what the result is unless we can only assume or predict how the idea can give big impact for others. We could find more allies as long as we have got the right person to support the idea.
We also have to believe that we can put ourselves as an innovative leader. We have to be strategic. I believe that my idea is a great way to make a big contribution, so I do not have to be scared to prepare everything and to schedule people to conducting a meeting in right time and place. The meeting is about the new breakthrough of an idea that will interest people. Meeting or have a session is a great place for group thinkers to express themselves. When I explain a new idea in meeting, I try to balance between the text and visual. A presentation slide or book with an important message complemented by an image representing the idea. Some will remember what they have read, others will remember what they have seen. We can also use more than imagery to convince and to ensure that the audience or pupil understand what I am trying to point out.
