Tentang Pittauli
Hello! My name is Pittauli. I am a Mathematics teacher who firmly believes that every child has a unique way of learning. I currently teach at an international school in West Jakarta.
For me, mathematics is not simply about memorising long formulas or chasing perfect scores; it is about building logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Over my years of teaching students from diverse backgrounds—spanning primary school through to advanced secondary level (Pure Mathematics)—I have always strived to create a supportive and safe learning environment. I want my students to feel completely comfortable asking questions whenever they are stuck and never be afraid of making mistakes.
I chose to become a tutor because I love seeing that "Aha!" moment on a student's face when a concept they once found daunting suddenly clicks. My approach is warm, patient, and encouraging, yet structured and carefully aligned with each student's academic goals.
I am ready to help you or your child build confidence and make friends with maths. Let's discuss your learning targets!

Hello! I am Pittauli, an active Mathematics teacher at an international school in West Jakarta. I offer private maths lessons (both online and face-to-face) for primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary students.
Qualifications & Experience:
I have extensive experience teaching both the Cambridge International Curriculum (Checkpoint, IGCSE, and AS Level – Pure Mathematics) and the Indonesian National Curriculum. As a certified professional teacher (PPG) working in an international school environment, I comfortably deliver lessons entirely in English or bilingually (English-Indonesian), depending on what suits the student best.
Teaching Methodology:
My approach centres on concept-based learning and student-centred instruction. Rather than encouraging rote memorisation of formulas, I guide students to discover the underlying logic of maths for themselves. To keep lessons engaging and interactive, I integrate dynamic tools such as GeoGebra and Desmos to help visualise abstract concepts, alongside structured past-paper practice for thorough exam preparation.
Duration & Target Students:
This course is open to all students—whether they wish to strengthen their foundational understanding, catch up on school grades, or prepare intensively for upcoming examinations (Cambridge or school-based exams). Lesson durations are flexible, typically ranging from 60 to 90 minutes, ensuring students learn effectively without feeling overwhelmed.
Let's make learning maths logical, enjoyable, and meaningful together!
