I'm certain in 6 months, 4 times per months and 2 hours per sessions with me along with your consistencies doing you home practice at least 20 mins everyday. You can jump into any starting band/projects or make your own band without being a dragging drummer and you can sound good even with the crappy drum kiy.

My method would mostly involving a real drum kit, sticking pads, and metronome(not much of a music sheet reader). Best way to learn drum is to pocket the tempo with the metronome, slowly with the correct form, if that can be done you will be surprised how fast you can progress in playing with broad dynamics without even changing your beats.
I'm not an academic drummer(but i took lessons for the basic and fundamental in drum course back in the day, more of drummer who just jumped into a band and projects just do my thing accordingly to the guidelines of whoever hire me, so that means lots of flexibilities and freedom in inputs between student and teacher, we can learn from each other. I teached band extracurricular activities for some highschool and Junior high i teached them how to write a song and choreographed their own stage act and crowd control, my crafts are available on across multiple streaming platform, i won multiple band fest back in the day, but most importantly i still do and make my own music till this day. My mission is i don't want my student to stuck inside the cage and wondering what to do let alone with my teaching only, i will prepared them with every basic a drummer needs to start a band or jump on a projects. So, get ready, grab your sticks, and lets unleashed the thunder with me.
I have my own studio with a full band rehearsal capabilities and double chain drive double pedal if you want to learn in my studio...or i can do private to home if you have your own kit.
