Hi there! My primary goal is to assist you in quickly communicating with Indonesian locals in a casual and polite manner, ensuring correct grammar, pronunciation, and perhaps understanding of slangs and culture :D. I’m fluent in both English and Indonesian and feel at ease teaching Indonesian by drawing comparisons between the two languages. I can also serve as a Homework Helper limited to high school level works.
How we’ll study:
I) Theory - Laws of the Language
I will provide a comprehensive document serving as a guide to outline the 'laws' or 'rules' that we must first master to deliver grammatically correct sentences in the Indonesian Language. Our first meeting will be free of cost, during which we will learn how to pronounce the Indonesian alphabet and eventually understand vocabulary (prioritizing the most used ones), word order, pronouns, compound words, and so on.
II) Application - Practice Papers and Conversations
Once we've grasped the theoretical aspects, we'll apply our knowledge through practical exercises, including practice papers and conversations. This may involve casual chatting in scenarios like interacting with a grandparent, navigating to a shopping place, or participating in a school environment, all of which will be graded to track progress.

My primary goal is to assist you in acquiring the fundamentals of casual to semi-formal communication in Indonesian for your day-to-day life, such as in a school environment, rather than focusing on professional Indonesian Literature. Despite my experience in tutoring and language learning, please note that I am not certified.
