Tentang Intan
I expertise in teaching Biology for grade 9 & 10 (IGCSE) students. I used to teach other lower (Cambridge checkpoint 7-9) and upper classes (AS/A Level) as well, but the majority of my teaching experience will be around IGCSE Biology.
I begin my teaching journey in 2008 starting from :
- British School Jakarta-Bintaro
- SMAN 8 JKT (International Programme)
- SMAN 3 JKT (International Programme)
- SMAN 21 JKT (International Programme)
- Madina Islamic School Jakarta
- Global Sevilla School-Pulomas Jakarta
Beside teaching in formal school, I also actively teaching in private courses both online and offline (Spectrum Course, A Level Course).
In the total 15 years of teaching I have taught varies of students ranging from grade 5-12.

I expertise in teaching Biology for grade 9 & 10 (IGCSE) students. I used to teach other lower (Cambridge checkpoint 7-9) and upper classes (AS/A Level) as well, but the majority of my teaching experience will be around IGCSE Biology.
My method of teaching involves cooperative learning, visual learning (including pictures, videos and diagrams in my PPT/presentation) and provide questions drilling to emphasize student's understanding in order to improve/excel their Biology score/result.
Half of my students in SMAN 8 JKT received A* (the highest remarks) for Biology IGCSE. I once voted by my beloved students in SMAN 8 JKT as The Best Teacher back in 2012.
I recently teaches private courses for IGCSE students from Global Sevilla School, preparing them for the IGCSE exam next May/June 2024.
