Hello! I'm Shuni. I'm a certified Indonesian teacher for teaching Indonesian as a foreign language.

My lessons combines my expertise as an Indonesian teacher with my professional experience using Indonesian in business. Let me guide you in mastering formal spoken and written Indonesian for the workplace.

TEXTBOOK-BASED
Base lesson materials are from "The Indonesian Way" but I will tailor each lesson to your specific needs. You will be learning to read, listen, speak, and write. All materials are included in the fee.
If you have learned Indonesian before, we can discuss from which part we shall start as your Lesson 1 with me.
CONVERSATION-BASED
Formal and informal (or casual) spoken Indonesian language often vary widely. It would be my pleasure to guide you through the differences, so that your Indonesian will sound natural and less foreigner-like.
For complete beginners, we can start with simple daily-conversations. For intermediate and above levels, we can decide on a topic and talk about it. Then, I will give you feedback on your sentence structure and pronunciation.
EXERCISE-BASED
This is an educational game on Kahoot platform, which I created myself. I tailor each game's content to my student's level of Indonesian. You will get 20 questions in each lesson, and after each question, I will my feedback on your answers. You may ask me anything about that particular question. The next time you take this lesson, you will get another different set of questions.
INDONESIAN FOR BUSINESS
Rather than talking to yourself in front of the mirror, talk to me in front of your computer screen. I can help you prepare for a speech, presentation, etc.
I also can help with written texts such as reports, articles, thesis, etc.
And, rest assured, I will keep your content strictly confidential.
